Is this guide official?
No. It is written by students. Anything that decides your eligibility or your score — rules, dates, registration, the syllabus — comes from usaaio.org, and we link there rather than restating it.
Do I need advanced math before starting?
Algebra and some Python is enough to start. Linear algebra, probability, and calculus each get their own modules, and you can pick them up when a later topic needs them.
Should I learn TensorFlow or PyTorch?
PyTorch. The syllabus names it for deep learning tasks, so that is what the guide uses once you are past NumPy and scikit-learn.
